Discovery Fire Sprinklers has secured a major new contract in the City of Belfast, partnering with Z Property Development on the Dublin Road development.
Located on Belfast’s ‘Golden Mile’ and directly opposite the Queens University PBSA project, the scheme will deliver 85 state-of-the-art residential apartments alongside a ground-floor commercial unit. The 10-storey concrete construction will also include a first-floor gym and roof garden communal spaces, creating a landmark build-to-rent destination in the heart of the city.
The 18-month programme sees DFS join an experienced project team, including GMR Architects, Caldwell Consultants, BW Murray Engineers, BB7 as Fire Consultant, and Nigel Lynch Associates as Principal Designer. Site management will be led by Stephen King.
The development replaces two derelict restaurant sites, bringing high-quality new homes and facilities to one of Belfast’s most vibrant streets. For DFS, it represents not only a chance to deliver fire protection to a complex, mixed-use building, but also to expand an already growing portfolio in Northern Ireland.
