Discovery Fire Sprinklers is breaking ground on two major new projects, signalling a strong start to the year and continued momentum across residential and care-sector developments.
At Kincorth, DFS is now on site on a large-scale residential scheme, with works underway on the first block of a ten-block development. The project is a substantial undertaking, comprising full 3D modelling of fire sprinkler systems across 195 houses, each supported by comprehensive offsite monitoring. The scope also includes the installation of five external pre-packaged pumphouses, complete with the associated infrastructure required.
In parallel, Discovery Fire Sprinklers is also breaking ground on a new care home development in Banchory, following the award of the contract earlier this year. The project involves the design and installation of a dedicated fire sprinkler system tailored to the specific operational and regulatory requirements of a care environment, where reliability and life safety are critical. The Banchory scheme further strengthens DFS’s track record within the care sector, delivering specialist fire protection solutions for some of the most safety-critical building types.
Together, the Kincorth and Banchory projects underline a busy period for Discovery Fire Sprinklers, with multiple schemes moving forward on site at the same time. As work progresses, DFS continues to work closely with project partners to ensure every system is delivered to the highest standards, from the moment ground is broken through to completion.
