Discovery Fire Sprinklers has been appointed by Ogilvie Construction to deliver the active fire protection systems for the new Kincorth social housing development in Aberdeen. The large-scale project will provide 195 homes for social rent, comprising a mix of flatted blocks and individual dwellings. DFS is supplying and installing a BS 9251:2021 Category 2 sprinkler system across the site, supported by five external pump houses, a complete underground infrastructure network, and 31 monitoring systems to ensure full operational reliability and compliance. This major development strengthens DFS’s role in safeguarding communities across Scotland through the design and delivery of modern, high-performance fire protection solutions.
