The Auchmill Project in Aberdeen is characterized by its adherence to the BS9251:2021 standards for fire protection. This extensive undertaking encompasses four blocks of flats, featuring a total of 680 sprinkler heads distributed strategically throughout the buildings. To support the system’s reliability, an external Combi GRP pump house has been installed, along with infrastructure connections to each block. Comprehensive monitoring ensures constant vigilance and rapid response in case of a fire emergency. Additionally, an Aico fire alarm system has been integrated throughout the premises for early detection and alerting. The project’s commitment to safety and compliance is underscored by third-party certification, affirming that the fire protection measures implemented meet the highest industry standards.
