Discovery Fire Sprinklers has appointed Gary Muir as Infrastructure Installer and Consultant, strengthening the company’s growing Services and Utilities Division as demand continues to increase across both residential and commercial developments.
The appointment comes during a sustained period of growth for DFS, with the company having secured work across more than 40 housing developments covering associated infrastructure works and sprinkler installations for over 1,000 homes, alongside further projects already progressing through the pipeline.
Gary joins the business to support and oversee sprinkler infrastructure works across all sites. His role is designed to bring sprinkler systems into the conversation earlier, working from initial planning stages through to completion. By aligning requirements at the right point in the programme, DFS aims to reduce disruption on site and ensure works are properly coordinated alongside other trades and services.
Working closely with site teams, project managers, and contractors, Gary will help coordinate programmes, manage technical queries, oversee installation progress, and support testing and completion processes across projects. He will also act as a key contact for site-related matters throughout each stage of delivery.
Managing Director James Bryceland said the appointment adds further support for both clients and site teams as DFS continues to expand its project portfolio and maintain high standards of coordination, communication, and technical delivery.
The addition reflects the company’s continued investment in its in-house capabilities as DFS strengthens its infrastructure offering and supports an increasing number of large-scale residential developments across Scotland and beyond.
