Discovery Fire Sprinklers is proud to be working alongside JGM Building Services on one of Scotland’s most high-profile construction projects, the new A&M Golf development at Feddinch Mains, St Andrews.
Led by international developer Alvarez & Marsal Golf, the resort will feature a championship 18-hole course, a par-3 layout, practice facilities, clubhouse, luxury hotel, cottages, and a greenkeeper’s service yard. It represents the first new course to be built in St Andrews since 2008 and a major investment into both Scottish golf and the local economy, with more than 200 jobs expected during construction and over 100 permanent roles once operational.
DFS has been engaged by JGM to design and install the BS EN 12845 OH3 compliant fire sprinkler systems for key elements of the development, including the Agronomy Building and Heart of House facilities. The scale and technical demands of the project underline the trust placed in JGM, whose reputation for delivering complex building services packages has made them a partner of choice for high-profile schemes across Scotland.
Working under the main contractor, CM Steel, JGM has taken a central role in ensuring the project’s building services are delivered to the highest standard. DFS’s in-house design and installation teams are collaborating closely with JGM to guarantee that fire protection integrates seamlessly with the wider services strategy, supporting the safety, resilience, and long-term operation of the resort.
For DFS, the project represents another milestone in its portfolio of major commercial and leisure developments. For JGM, it is further evidence of their capability to deliver on projects that carry both national significance and international attention.
As work progresses on site, DFS is proud to support JGM in bringing this landmark project to life, combining local expertise with world-class standards in safety and design.
