Discovery Fire Sprinklers is delighted to announce that the Discovery Foundation charity sponsorship of Dundee boxer Sam Hickey, with the partnership getting off to the perfect start following another impressive victory in the ring on Saturday night.
The undefeated middleweight extended his professional record to 5-0 with a second-round stoppage win over previously unbeaten Todd Tompkins at the Bournemouth International Centre, on a card broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Sam joins the growing list of local individuals, teams and organisations supported by Discovery Foundation, reflecting a commitment to supporting individual and organisations from across Dundee and beyond.
At just 26 years old, Sam has already enjoyed a remarkable boxing journey. Before turning professional, he won Commonwealth Games gold for Scotland and claimed multiple national titles, establishing himself as one of the country’s leading amateur boxers. Since making the move into the professional ranks, he has continued to impress with a series of unbeaten performances.
For Discovery Foundation, the sponsorship represents an opportunity to support a local athlete whose dedication, professionalism and work ethic mirror the values that underpin the business.
