Discovery Fire Sprinklers has been awarded the contract to design, install, and commission the automatic fire sprinkler systems for a major new care home development in Dundee, continuing our strong partnership with CHAP Group.
The new 54-bed facility, being developed by Meallmore Group on the site of the former Cambustay Hotel in Broughty Ferry, will deliver modern accommodation with a focus on dementia care. The luxury home will feature private gardens, outdoor terraces, a cinema, café, beauty salon, and dining facilities designed to enhance resident wellbeing.
DFS will provide a fully compliant BS 9251:2021 Category 3 sprinkler system, ensuring the highest standards of safety and protection for residents, staff, and visitors. Our in-house design and installation teams will oversee every stage of the system delivery, from planning through to commissioning.
This award marks another significant project win for DFS and reinforces our reputation as a trusted fire protection partner to CHAP Group.
Work on site has now commenced, with completion scheduled for early 2027, further strengthening the company’s growing portfolio of care-sector developments across Scotland.
